In their first year in the league the Suffolk Sharks took their minor and major teams to division championship only to come up short. The Sharks major team lost the best of three dropping the first two games 4-2 and 3-2. At the same time up in Boston the minor team struggled as well losing the first two of the best of three ending the franchises championship dreams.

Not to be out done by the losses the Sharks would like to thank all our fans and sponsors who turned out this year to support the club. "We really put a lot of hard work to get this club running and to see the stands filled with fans every home game was amazing" raved major team captain Rob Maninno. The Sharks were among the top teams in the league in average home attendance this year as loyal fans turned out for each and every home game. "When we played in a snow storm this year I thought the rink was going to be empty but the fans still showed their support and came out to cheer us on" says minor team leader Tom Harwood.

Next year the Sharks will be back and will be stronger as interest from local talent has increased. A special thank you to all our sponsors who without your support none of this could have been possible. We hope to see you back with us again next year.
